World Finals brings Benji Hicks back to The Dirt Track at Charlotte with World of Outlaws

Kicking off his second weekend of competition at the facility, Benji Hicks joined the World of Outlaw Case Construction Late Model Series at The Dirt Track at Charlotte (Concord, N.C.) for the 18th-annual World Finals.

With a stacked 66-car field on hand, Hicks missed Thursday's main event by just one position in his last chance showdown before recording a 14th-place finish in a LCS on Friday evening.

For Saturday's $25,000-to-win finale, Benji finished sixth in his LCS and did not make the 50-lap main event.
