Benji Hicks wraps up Schaeffer’s Oil Southern Nationals with fourth-place points finish

Losing the first two events of the week, Benji Hicks rolled into North Georgia Speedway (Chatsworth, Ga.) on Friday afternoon for the penultimate event of the Schaeffer’s Oil Southern Nationals miniseries.

Finishing third in his heat race, Hicks started eighth in the 53-lap feature and managed a Top-10 finish in ninth.

For the series finale at Tazewell (Tenn.) Speedway, Hicks started 13th and finished 11th to close out his run with the miniseries.
