Benji Hicks attends World 100 at Eldora Speedway
Making the long haul to the state of Ohio, Benji Hicks unloaded his Double-Nickel Race Car at Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) on Thursday afternoon for the 53rd-running of the World 100.
With the whopping 102-car field split into two groups, Hicks made up one position in his heat race to finish seventh before finishing sixth in his Last Chance Showdown.
Hoping for better luck in Friday's preliminaries, Benji was once again unable to crack the A-Main starting field after a sixth-place outing in his Last Chance Showdown.
For Saturday's $56,000-to-win finale, Hicks started his heat race from the 11th-position and pulled off after only completing nine laps. He was scored 13th in the final rundown.
