Benji Hicks races in three Late Model divisions at Ultimate Motorsports & RV Park
Competing in not one, not two, but three Late Model divisions at his home track, Benji Hicks invaded Ultimate Motorsports & RV Park (Elkin, N.C.) on Saturday afternoon.
Among 30 Ultimate Southeast Series entries, Hicks was victorious in his B-Main which earned him a spot in the $7,500-to-win feature where he would land inside the Top-10 in ninth.
Missing the setup in 604 Late Model qualifying, Benji started the 20-lap feature from the fifth-row and charged forward six positions to finish on the podium in third.
Starting on the pole of 602 Late Model feature, Hicks battled hard with Luke Cooper before settling for a runner-up finish in the $1,200-to-win main event.
